This blog will lead you to a recording of my final sermon in the Portland Methodist Circuit before moving to the Notts and Derby Methodist District to take up a new role.The service took place at Easton Methodist Church on the evening of Sunday 30th July. My wife Nicola, who had held many roles within the Portland Methodist Circuit and the Southampton Methodist District shared the service with me. Nicola is now taking up a role in the area we have moved to and is a Probationer Presbyter.
The service on 30th July enabled us to share with Church and Community as we prepared to leave the Portland area. It was a privilege to be able to share with so many people during the afternoon tea and evening service.
The theme of the sermon was built round John Chapter 14 with the title above, "We'll meet again". This passage remains an important one to me.
